Tuesday, August 9th. Join islander and local historian, Philip Howard, as he shares amazing tales of shipwrecks and the brave surfmen whose job it was to save the lives of the sailors.

Wednesday, August 10th. Come find out what kinds of shells you can find on Ocracoke's beaches. Then, make your very own shell snow globe to take home with you. $5 fee per craft

Thursday, August 11th. Find out from island residents what it is really like to live on Ocracoke Island! We'll have answers for all the questions you've always wanted to ask about life on our island.

Monday, August 15th. Join island resident, Bill Jones on an interesting and informative tour through the museum.

Tuesday, August 16th. The Community Square is one of Ocracoke's longest running social gathering places. Come learn about it's history, the stories it has to tell and how you can help save it.

Wednesday, August 17th. Experts with the National Park Service tell us about the wonderful world of sea turtles and dolphins. Then we use bits of shell to make our own turtle or dolphin mosaic. $5 fee per craft

Thursday, August 18th. Della Gaskill, with moderator Alice Wilson, shares stories about growing up on Ocracoke in the 1940s. It's an insight to Ocracoke you don't want to miss!
